Street photography project
In the winter of 2013, seven Tumo students came together and studied street photography with workshop leader and former Tumo student Lilit Tovmasyan. They acquainted themselves with street photographers from different parts of the world, analyzed their work, and then spent two months mapping the defining moments of their daily lives on the routes leading from their homes to Tumo.

The Router Project captures the otherwise unseen moments of the daily routines of teenagers as they move through the city. Often, photographers travel the world to capture unique images, extraordinary moments and life-altering situations. Yet our daily realities contain a wealth of images that can be just as significant, beautiful and even exotic. It is these types of everyday images that are highlighted and mapped in this project.
