Tumo student Mariam Avagyan is a talented young artist who attended animation workshops at Tumo and discovered the magic of traditional animation techniques. She created her first short animation video depicting a ballet dancer while experimenting in the genre.

Depicting dance movements, especially ballet, is a very complex process for a first time animator. Mariam met the challenge and with the help of Tumo mentors, creating a short animation of a dancer that flows through space. Mariam was assisted by fellow Tumo members who helped with editing and recording.
