DESIGN YOUR SCHEDULE

Camp Tumo is made up of four 1-week modules starting on the 29th of June and the 6th, 13th and 20th of July. You can come for only one week or for two, three, or even four weeks.

The first half of the day is spent on learning and doing projects. The second half is dedicated to exploring Yerevan and Armenia – and gathering material for your projects. If you’re making a short film, for example, you might capture the footage for it while exploring Yerevan. We’ll also find time to play sports in our Tumanyan Park, which is right next to Tumo and equipped with brand new basketball and soccer courts.

1 week:
Campers will be introduced to the basics of their chosen learning targets and leave with the inspiration to continue exploring on their own.
2 weeks:
Campers will develop a stronger foundation in their learning targets and will leave with a small project for their portfolio.
3 weeks:
Campers will obtain a deeper understanding of their selected focus area or specialty course. This combined with practical experience in their choice of technical/artistic skills will result in a polished portfolio project.
4 weeks:
Guru Status! Campers will reach their maximum potential by covering all levels of their learning targets.

CHECK OUT THE FACILITIES

 

The Tumo learning facilities and project studios occupy over 60,000 square feet in our modern building in the heart of Yerevan’s Tumanyan Park.

We have over 450 computer workstations with industry standard software, iPads, 3D printers, photo and video cameras, a professional movie theater, brainstorming rooms, a cafeteria and more.

Tumanyan Park is maintained and managed by Tumo and includes a range of sports and recreation facilities, including a basketball court and a soccer field.

Accomodations

Some Tumo campers will be coming on vacation with their families and already have a place to stay. Others will come on their own and need accommodation and transportation. If you’re one of those, we can help you out.

We’ll provide transportation from wherever you’re staying to Tumo and back, and a Tumo representative will come with you on all trips and will be available to help 24 hours a day. We will also arrange meal plans at the Tumo cafeteria.
