Short Documentary Filmmaking

Led by filmmaker Avo Kambourian, a group of Tumo students created a series of short documentary videos on a variety of topics over the course of four weeks. They learned the basics of documentary filmmaking, from pre-production, to production and post-production. Beloved comic actor Hovhannes Azoyan, known affectionately as Hovo, taught an acting workshop that not only covered the basics of the craft, but culminated in a 5-minute short film that featured both students and their instructor.
