Students in this game design workshop studied video games over the course of 3 weeks. They played both computer games and non-digital ones such as card games and board games, discussed them, and carried out case studies.

Throughout the workshop, the students were learning about the emotions games invoke and how game designers create memorable gameplay. Later, students applied their knowledge to preparing a non-digital game. As the final stage of the workshop, they created a level for the video game Portal 2.
