Uneducated Democracy
On June 2012, 17-year-old Angela Manukyan's essay on "Uneducated Democracy" was chosen from a pool of submissions by Tumo students to be the basis for the conception of a music video commissioned by rock musician, singer-songwriter, political activist, Tumo board member and lead singer of the band System of a Down, Serj Tankian. Angela was joined by 13 other Tumo student animators, editors, camera operators and artists to produce the video over the course of three weeks.

The music video expresses the concept of struggle for freedom around the world using three different kinds of visual communication: claymation, 2D animation and a collage of documentary scenes from political news clips supporting the idea that power in the wrong hands can become destructive and evil. The video for Uneducated Democracy from Tankian's third solo album Harikiri premiered on July 18, 2012 on Alternative Press Magazine's website.
