Tumo's first workshop open to university students, young professionals as well as Tumo students with experience in programming took place in February 2014. A group of 60 programmers took part in the three month beginner and advanced level workshops in mobile app programming. Graphic design students also took part in a parallel workshop where they created user interfaces for the mobile apps.
Project Participants
Workshop participants produced three practical applications for distribution through the App Store. “Quoto†is a camera app for social media use, which lets you add a 30 character quote on your photo to share on social media networks. “EVN: Art District†allows you to capture and share alternative art in public spaces by geolocating them on a map of Yerevan. “Noah’s Ark†is an animal themed mobile game for children. The player pairs up animals until they match all animals in the Ark.
