Last Saturday, the Innovate Armenia event took place in Los Angeles, organized by the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies. Its goal was to provide a platform for innovators during a day long exchange of experiences and ideas.

 

Technology companies, performers, NGOs and celebrities discussed their projects and their vision of the future in parallel indoor and outdoor venues on the USC campus. Representatives of companies and organizations from Armenia presented alongside their diaspora colleagues.

 

Among the presenters were Tumo board members Raffi Krikorian, Alex Seropian and Vahe Berberian, in additon to Tumo friends, partners and neighbors such as Birthright Armenia, Impact Hub Yerevan and PicsArt. Tumo Director Marie Lou Papazian presented the center's programs and vision, and spoke about the upcoming launch of new Tumo locations, as well as future expansion plans.
