A few months ago, 16 year olds Abel Ghazinyan and Vahe Muradyan were announced as the winners of Tumo's first internal game competition. Their mission game called "Space" impressed the judges with its realistic physics, clean graphics and engaging gameplay. They designed and programmed the game from start to finish using the Java programming language.

Energized by their win and building on their new coding experience, Abel and Vahe started working on a new game. Polygon, is a color matching game for Android devices now available on Google Play. Unlike the great majority of Android games, Polygon can be played in multiplayer mode with up to four players. It also includes shooter and timed modes in classic and arcade formats.

Abel and Vahe have been Tumo students for two years and neither of them had any prior knowledge of programming or game design when they joined Tumo. In the past year, they have participated in various programming and game development workshops. They hope to break into the gaming industry and develop world renowned games under their new banner "Marimba Games". "I think we have an opportunity to become successful in game development," says Abel. "We're both going to study software engineering and develop our skills so we can compete with the best known game companies. It's not impossible, we just need to work hard." Vahe agrees, adding "We're going to start promoting the game and promoting our startup. The name of our team, "Marimba" comes from an online music application we built in the Coding Music with the Harvard Boys workshop at Tumo."

Abel and Vahe are currently focused on finishing high school, while they dream about making it big in game development.
