Starting Monday, award winning cinematographer Mkrtich "Mko" Malkhasyan will be kicking off another filmmaking workshop at Tumo. Thirteen participants will have the chance to create a music video for Tmba Ta's original song "Le Petit Papa" in the month long intensive workshop.

Mko, a graduate of Abovyan State Pedagogical Institute was the director of photography on such films as "Garegin Nzhdeh", "Nora" and Maria Sahakyan's "I'm going to change my name". He will be guiding students on pre-production, filming and post-production for the music video. Participants will have several brainstorming sessions with the members of Tmba Ta to fully capture the essence of the song, which includes a combination of well known Armenian playground songs, a classic rock anthem and a rap version of Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose".

Mko has previously worked with Tumo students on the Choreography of Movement workshop and will be working regularly with Tumo students to guide and mentor them on their projects.

The Tumo family is eagerly awaiting the release of the music video for one of Tmba Ta's most popular songs.
