For the past two weeks, 18 Tumo students have been working on creating prototypes for packaging for Grand Candy, Armenia's largest candy company, in a package design workshop with graphic designer Shoghak Kazandjian. Today, they presented the results of the workshop to Grand Candy Director Aram Ghazaryan and Head of Graphic Design Vahan Abrahamyan.
During the course of the workshop, participants covered the fundamentals of package design and focused on the restyling of some of Grand Candy's popular products. Following an initial research phase, they began creating new logos and new designs, as well as new packaging solutions.
Students created prototypes for hot drink cups and holders, boxes, candy wrappers, doughnut holders and take away packaging.
