SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are just a few of the projects Derek Rippe has worked on, and he will be coming to Tumo very soon to lead a packaging design workshop for students interested in design.

Derek is currently a Senior Designer at Nickelodeon, one of the most popular children's television networks, where he oversees the design and development of toys and games, and character creation for on-air television series. He also has extensive experience in illustration and design work and has worked on children's books, educational applications and exhibitions.

With Derek’s assistance as an art director, participants will develop packaging designs for children’s juice boxes for Noyan using a variety of styles and mediums.
