Student run "Tumo News" has been bringing updates on the center's daily life to Tumo students since late 2013.

 

Volunteer Editor in Chief Liana Davtian spoke of how Tumo News went from a guest workshop with PR/marketing expert Jackie Abramian, to an ongoing fully student run project presenting the world of Tumo from students' perspective. "We didn't imagine that it would turn into such a fantastic project. Our team is made of 15 students at the moment and we work together like one big family." When asked why she wanted to give up her time to volunteer at Tumo, Liana said "I love inspiring others. The youngest members of our team are 12 and 13 years old and they're already thinking about their future careers. Our team is so dedicated and hardworking and it is a real pleasure to work with them."

The Tumo News team has been trained in quality news production and is now considering the addition a biweekly printed version to its activities. This is to ensure that students are getting the necessary information on all available platforms about upcoming events, success stories and daily life at Tumo.
