A world renowned producer, who has worked closely with international megastars such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Pitbull, will be running an exciting weeklong workshop at Tumo starting April 20.
One half of the music production duo "The Futuristics", Joe Khajadourian, will be working closely with participants of music workshop projects at Tumo. He will assist them in producing a contemporary version of an Armenian folk song, reflecting the musical inspirations of the workshop participants. Khajadourian will not only assist in curating and co-producing the track, but will also give feedback on all tracks already produced by students participating in the Tumo Tmba-Ta orchestra, the Pyramidz electro band, the girl band Decibelle and the DIY collective workshop-projects.
This is Khajadourian's first time in Armenia and he is thrilled to meet Tumo students and assist them in unlocking their full musical potential.
