Armenian reggae band Reincarnation headlined Tumo's first anniversary celebrations on August 14, 2012. Nearly 3,000 teenagers flooded the Tumo Plaza for a group photo, the live-concert and after-party with DJ Serjo.

Tumo opened in summer 2011 as a space where technologically curious teenagers and preteens could have access to digital learning tools and professional mentorship. A year later, the center has more than 6,000 registered members aged 12-18 and over 1000 students using its facilities per day. Students produce creative content and media applications and at times work on real-life projects guided by industry professionals.
