Today, Tumo launched the long-awaited mobile device programming workshop. Over 80 people, including Tumo members up to 18 years of age, and 18- to 26-year-old non-Tumo members had applied to the workshop when it was announced in December.

Participants who passed an aptitude test were divided into two groups - a beginner level workshop and an intermediate/advanced one.

Over the course of three months, the two groups will study the technology used for the creation of mobile applications, and will work to create applications for iOS devices.

These workshops are among the first that Tumo is offering to university age students and young professionals. A parallel workshop will target graphic design students who are interested in creating user interfaces for mobile apps.
