Acclaimed Concept Artist to Lead a Workshop at Tumo

Tumo board member, conceptual artist and digital matte painter Roger Kupelian will visit Armenia and lead a special visual effects and digital concept art workshop at Tumo.
Kupelian who is known for his work on such Academy-Award winning productions as ''The Lord of the Rings'' trilogy and Clint Eastwood's ''Flags of Our Fathers'' has worked in the motion picture industry since 1995 creating stunning virtual environments.
Over the course of four weeks (June 14 - July 12), Kupelian will lead intensive workshops both for Tumo students and others between the ages of 18 and 26. Throughout the course, participants will master matte painting, compositing and visual effects skills using software such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
Kupelian is currently working on his East of Byzantium project, with its Armenian headquarters at Tumo.
