Animation production workshop with Liz Artinian

Starting June 20, painting director on the animated television series "The Venture Bros," Liz Artinian will lead an animation production design workshop at Tumo. The workshop concentrates on background design development for an animated series and will consist of two parts: the first part will focus on a variety of drawing and painting techniques using programs like Flash and Photoshop and the second will focus on personal style development.
Students will have the opportunity to use pre-established tools, background designs from existing animated shows, digital perspective drawing tools, Photoshop brushes, and digital textures from Artinian's 16-year career in animation.
At the end of this course, students will be encouraged to find a production art style that speaks to them, and to execute several designs in that style.
