The much awaited Tumo summer camp will begin on Monday June 30th. The four week intensive camp will see over 100 students from all over the world and all over Armenia walking through Tumo’s doors to participate in the intensive summer program, a concentrated version of the full creative technology curriculum offered throughout the year at Tumo.

Participants will attend in one or two week modules and experience hands-on learning in robotics, computer programming, 3D modeling, animation, game development, writing, music and filmmaking. Over half of the participants will be teenagers from Armenian towns and villages who don’t have access to Tumo’s Yerevan or Dilijan locations during the school year. They will attend free of charge thanks to the generous support of Tumo partners and donors.

In addition to educational workshops, campers will take part in a number of complementary activities. During the second half of the day, sports events will be held in the adjacent Tumanyan Park.  On Saturdays, organized events and excursions to popular destinations in Armenia will give campers a chance to socialize. There will also be specially designed guided tours of Yerevan and surrounding areas that will allow participants to gather material for their digital media projects.
