On January 26, Tumo officially opened its doors to Dilijan teenagers with the support of the Central Bank of Armenia. Tumo Dilijan is to operate within the Knowledge for Development Center, the local library building newly reconstructed by the Central Bank. Starting from January 29 all interested kids aged 12-16 are welcome to visit the Center and register to participate in the Program free of charge!  Welcome to the ever-expanding Tumo community!

Tumo Dilijan is equipped with 29 workstations and has the capacity to serve 90 students a day by providing them with a unique learning experience via new technologies. The center's activities will be structured similarly to those of the original Tumo, with students split across four focus areas (animation, digital media, video game development and web development) and hands-on workshops taught by professional mentors. In early March, Tumo Dilijan will launch its own robotics and digital music creation workshops.

"We are very excited to launch the program in Dilijan.  We sincerely hope the unique learning environment will now be accessible not only to young people from Yerevan, but also Dilijan. Tumo Dilijan is another step forward to realize our dream--to educate a generation of Armenians who are competitive and walk in line with global developments," said Marie Lou Papazian, Executive Director of Tumo.
