In the year after Tumo's first Lego Robotics workshop, several hundred Tumo students have already passed through the program and can boast hands-on knowledge of the basics of programming an autonomous robot. The more advanced students have used the Lab View platform to program the robots to make complex decisions.
Usually led by local specialists, the workshops often hosted Lego Mindstorms experts from Spain and Italy who led two-week intensives with the students.
