Bambir Vocalist to Lead Sound and Visualization Workshop

Arik Grigoryan, vocalist and flutist for Armenian folk-rock band Bambir, will be leading a Sound and Visualization workshop for a select group of Tumo students in order to enrich their understanding of the relationship between digital-music, visuals and the avant-garde tradition. The workshop will include several guest performances and mini-lectures by other musicians, focused examinations of the foundations of music (tonality, rhythm and structure), and practical explorations in creating visual material to correspond to the music that one listens to.
