On April 25, Tumo Director Marie Lou Papazian took part in the "Tech Needs Girls" forum held at the American University of Armenia, dedicated to International Girls in ICT Day.
Over 200 high-school girls and female ICT students from Yerevan partcipated in the forum, while teachers of infomatics and high schools students from Armenia’s regions had the opportunity to join the forum remotely via livestream.
Marie Lou Papazian talked about the growing interest and motivation of Tumo female members in information and communication technologies by presenting a short video clip.
Since its opening in 2011, Tumo's ranks have grown to more than 5000 registered members aged 12-16, among them nearly 2000 girls.
