Students Perform with Tigran Hamasyan

A group of Tumo students, together with renowned jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan, demonstarted various musical improvisations by combining musical instruments with a wide spectrum of electronic media.
Over the course of four days, Tumo students were exposed to the process of experimenting with Armenian folk tunes and creating melodic and rythmic musical contrast. Hamasyan challenged students to develop compositions which drew from their insights, thus expressing their emotions through musical communication.
