Tumo Hosts Former Hitachi CEO

The Chairman of the Japanese Semiconductor Industry Association and former Hitachi CEO Dr. Tsugio Makimoto visited Tumo, where he met with students and took a personal tour of the center.
Dr. Makimoto, popularly known as "Mr. Semiconductor" in Japan, is a pioneering figure in the electronics industry. He has served in senior positions for Hitachi, Sony, and other leading companies, and developed influential theories on the market cycle of semiconductors. On Saturday, Makimoto received the Armenian President's 2013 Global IT Award for his groundbreaking contributions in the field of technology.
