Close to 100 students are currently participating in Tumo's beginner level programming workshop.
Workshop participants will become acquainted with the basics of the JavaScript programming language and study fundamental concepts such as variables and functions, loops and conditional structures. The workshop gives students the opportunity to gain basic programming skills, and a general understanding of the structure of computer programs.
This workshop serves as a prerequisite for continued participation in the intermediate and advanced level programming workshops, which in turn feed into other advanced workshop such as game development and web development.
