Tumo students learned the art of creating stories in the genres of drama, comedy, mystery and horror, in the third level of the writing workshop series.
Over the course of several months, members were introduced to the basic principles of writing, throughout all three levels of the workshop. In level one, they wrote a script for a film which was shot by students in a filmmaking workshop. In the second level, they introduced characters and described items without actually referring to them. The third level culminated with a full-length writing assignment.
In February, Tumo will resume with the first level of the writing workshops, giving beginners the chance to master the basic techniques of creative writing.
