Today, Tumo held a special screening of a British documentary film "Japan: A Story of Love and Hate," by Sean McAlister, where interesting discoveries are made about modern Japan. The screening was part of Tumo's Young Documentarian workshop and competition, a joint project with the US Embassy in Armenia.
The British Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan Aves, as well as the director of the film, were present for the screening. After the screening, the director described the making of the film, the challenges he faced and the objectives he was able to achieved.
The screening tool place on day three of McAlister's master classes, during which he is acquainting the Young Documentarian workshop participants with the history of documentary films and the process of creating them, sharing his personal experiences and knowledge.
