French animator Atam Rasho is visiting Tumo for the second time in order to lead a one-month-long workshop on animation techniques.
Last year, the graduate of the famous Ecole des Métiers du Cinéma d'Animation in France, led a one month workshop at Tumo on the basics of 2D animation. Workshop participants gained a basic understanding of traditional animation techniques using paper and pencil to create animated scenes, and develop basic hand drawing techniques.
The current workshop aims to introduce the creation of characters and expressive movement. Participants will each create a unique characters and, using vivid facial expressions and positioning, express their thoughts and dispositions.
