On February 20, Tumo will hold a unique event, jointly with the Lithuanian Embassy, whose special guest is Lithuanian musician Regimantas Šilinskas, who will perform with students participating in music workshops. The event will coincide with the opening of the Lithuanian photography exhibition "Everyday life: Dialogue of Generations."
The musical performance by Mr. Šilinskas and the Tumo musicians will feature the skrabali , a unique Lithuanian musical instrument comprised of wooden bells. The performance will be the culmination of a one-week intensive workshop where Tumo's students worked closely with Mr. Šilinskas to create original musical arrangements featuring both Lithuanian and Armenian musical elements.
The complex and evocative exhibition of Lithuanian photography examines Lithuanian everyday life incorporating the last half-century and featuring the works of three different generations of Lithuanian photographers.
