Emmy award winning writer and editor Dickran Manoogian is currently leading intermediate and advanced editing workshops entitled "The Art of Editing". Participants are learning about pacing, transition, cuts and continuity in editing. The intensive workshop is focused on core skills, concepts and workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro, stressing maximum efficiency when editing to create complete stories.
Workshop participants are learning about various editing styles and techniques. By the end of the course, they will have also learned how to refine hours of raw footage into a concise, clear and compelling final product. The videos produced in the workshop will be used in future Tumo activities, announcements and promotions.
Dickran Manoogian is an accomplished writer and editor with over 20 years of experience. He has written and edited gripping and engaging stories for broadcast, cable and digital distribution in the United States for channels including PBS, ABC, Discovery, The History Channel, and National Geographic.
