Tumo was taken back to the '70s tonight as students and staff celebrated Tumo's Third Anniversary with a fun-filled and eventful '70s themed disco party. The last evening of the summer at Tumo kicked off with a frank Q&A session with Sebu from Capital Cities. Students then gathered at Tumo Plaza ready to boogie on down to Sebu's debut performance in Armenia.
Party goers got their photos taken in their '70s outfits on the photo pavilion, and the winner of the photo contest for the most authentic '70s outfit was announced and presented with a CD of the greatest hits from the '70s.
DJ Dale entertained the audience with funky tunes throughout the evening, while Tumo's breakdancing workshop students brought the '70s spirit to Tumo Plaza by teaching the audience original breaking moves from the era.
Tumo officially goes on recess from August 16th until September 1st. Regular sessions will resume on September 8th.
