On November 2nd, in cooperation with Tumo, the KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation, the Embassy of Switzerland in Armenia and PanArmenian.NET will be holding a forum entitled "Unbordering Education" on the impact of online technologies in education.
The forum will focus on Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) systems and will include discussions on current trends, challenges and opportunities in e-learning. The keynote speaker is designer, commentator and one of the originators of the MOOC concept Stephen Downes.
KASA actively works on the development of e-learning in Armenia to reduce the social, cultural and digital divide between Yerevan and other regions of the country. KASA has designed an e-learning platform to support people in taking online courses and acquiring knowledge, in order to ultimately reduce unemployment in Armenia.
