Four ad hoc workshops coming to Tumo

Starting on January 13, Tumo is launching a Blogging and New Media workshop, followed by three more in February. The first of these is a marketing workshop led by Google expert Vardan Papikyan, where participants will study the effects that modern media have on everyday life using blogging tools and techniques that branch out across several fields.

 

Another will be led by documentary photographer Diana Markosyan who will introduce Tumo members to the basics of capturing and editing photographs and combining them in a multimedia project. During Markosyan's workshop students will take gain practical skills by going out into the field to research their stories and conduct interviews, capture audio and create images.

 

For aspiring filmmakers in both Yerevan and Dilijan, Tumo is going to offer a workshop which will help members explore cinematic notions through a study of landscapes. This workshop will be led by film director Isabelle Visherati and stage designer Maida Shavaki.
