Over the course of nine weeks, a group of Tumo members led by architect, designer and artist, Vazgen Brutyan, developed and designed a set of products using Armenian national patterns and miniature details.

The project consisted of several stages: in the first stage, the working group studied the history of vernacular patterns, and chose designs from traditional Armenian illuminated manuscripts or ornaments used in architecture.

The second stage was devoted to the development of modern graphic design images. They then selected from a variety of different utility items and prepared a collection.

The project is now launching its third stage, during which participants will implement their designs.
