An advanced level photojournalism workshop using multimedia techniques, will start at Tumo on February 10th, led by documentary photographer Diana Markosian. Markosian's work has appeared in Foreign Policy, Marie Claire, The New York Times, The Sunday Times, Time.com and World Policy. Workshop participants will develop their photographic and narration abilities and become familiar with key aspects of photographic and audio editing.
During the workshop participants will not only gain practical knowledge and skill, but will also have the opportunity discover stories in their everyday environments, conduct interviews and create sound recordings, in addition to capturing still images.
At the end of the workshop, they will present a series of audio and visual creations. Each participant's final result will be a two-minute audiovisual presentation.
