Films do come true at Tumo

On June 30th, another filmmaking project will kick off at Tumo, led by Victoria Aleksanyan, a young filmmaker currently studying in New York. The filmmaking workshop is for Tumo members who want to break into writing, directing and producing.
During the course of the month long workshop, participants will learn how to develop their ideas into a screenplay and take them all the way to the production stage. The workshop will involve activities such as developing scripts, casting actors, location scouting, making a shot list and schedule, and working both on and off set.
The workshop will also give Tumo members an opportunity to take part in making a collaborative short film.
