After two months of hard work, the "Choreography of Movement" workshop, led by Mkrtich "Mko" Malkhasyan, has come to its conclusion. The result is an impressive short film produced by the participants.

A team of 15 Tumo students and their supervising workshop leaders went from pre-production to shooting scenes inside and outside Tumo in mid-April. By the beginning of June, they had already entered the post-production phase on the movie's four segments.

The objective of the workshop was to understand the language of motion through filming choreographed movements of people. The workshop participants began the filming process in and around Tumo in four teams. Each team was allocated a separate location for its section of the film. Participants who filmed outside at the Tumanyan Park, the soccer field, the basketball court and Tumo Plaza focused on the movements of children at play, while those filming inside the Tumo building focused on the movements of Tumo students and staff.

As a result of the intensive three week workshops, four one-minute films showing children, teenagers and adults in motion were produced and combined to make a four minute short film. After the screening at Tumo Cinema, the winning "Green" team was announced and rewarded with a 3D-printed Oscar-like trophy of the Tumo mascot. The film will be available for public viewing soon.
